Position overview:

As advancements in AI become the driving force behind innovation, JBS, in continuation with their vision to be a leading solution provider, is expanding into the development and provision of AI Products and services. As the Business Head of AI, you will be the driving force behind our AI Business Unit. We are seeking a visionary and technically adept leader to spearhead the Business Development and implementation of AI-powered products and services for the financial industry, solving complex problems and driving measurable business value. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the AI Business Unit alongside the product and technical teams, from ideation and market research to launch and ongoing iteration, ensuring alignment with company objectives. 
• Develop an AI strategy aligned with the company’s overall business goals. 
• Identify strategic opportunities for applying AI to address challenges and create new opportunities for banks, financial institutions, and direct customers. 
• Work closely with partners, product managers, engineers, data scientists, and designers to translate AI capabilities into impactful products. 
• Manage and grow a high-performing team of engineers, data scientists, and researchers. 
• Oversee the Business Development, P&L, and technical development,of AI models, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical considerations. 

Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer & Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
• 4 to 6 years of experience in working on AI products, with 2 years of minimum experience in leading and scaling AI-powered projects. 
• Previous experience in leading Business development and managing a P&L 
• Previous measurable impact on business goals 
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks, and natural language processing techniques. 
• Ability to inspire and motivate a team of highly skilled technical and business professionals 
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills. 

Bonus points:

• Experience working within the Fintech or Financial Industry. 
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks within financial services. 
• Strong business acumen and a strategic mindset. 
• Proficient in Cloud AI/ML services on AWS, GCP, and Azure, as well as cloud computing services. Infrastructure knowledge for deciding physical/virtual machines for model retraining and deployment. 

You will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, identifying strategic opportunities for AI within the fintech / financial and operational services space, and driving the creation of innovative and existing solutions that revolutionize the industry.
